Starting over with everything..

I lived and worked in Japan for a long time and have come back in a time of economic and ever present family drama to try and gain a foothold in my so-called home country. Armed with nothing but dog fur, a crappy car, a laptop that hates me, I try to see how far I can get.

The first cow picture is a wonderful place called Farmland in Kumamoto on the way to Mt. Aso. It's got loads of shops and enough omiyage to cover all of Saga. You can buy all kinds of cow, volcano, horse related products here. Lemme tell you horse is more delicious than people give it credit for.

The more deserty pics are of Mt. Aso. It's really beautiful and the pictures don't do it justice. We were fortunate to catch it on a good day.

The last place is Kikuchi gorge. Known as one of the most beautiful gorges in Japan. It's absolutely gorgeous and there are loads of trails around it all.

All of these places were in Kumamoto-ken. Definitely worth going to, this was my second trip out there.
